This footage was released by Paul Ferrara in 2008, a short while after the release of his book 'Flash of Eden'. Titled 'Those Were The Days', the film features audio, including a short poetry reading backstage by Jim taken during the filming of 'Feast of Friends'. JIm Morrison and Mick Jagger are filmed at the Hollywood Bowl. Paul Ferrara has confirmed that Richie Havens was filming Jim and Mick as they sat together backstage. Richie has been unable to find the footage. The only known photos from the event are of Mick Jagger and Don Steele, and do not feature Jim.

Another instance where Jim is photographed filming with his 8mm. Alternate photos from this filming show a sequence where Jim is filming Paul Ferrara, and Paul is filming Jim. The portions of filmwork from both of their cameras on this day have never been seen. It can be said that Paul's footage was likely production footage for 'Feast of Friends', where Jim is seen using his own private 8mm.

Paul Ferrara included copies of this footage with the first 50 pre-orders of his book titled 'Flash of Eden' in December 2007, however collectors are hoping to see the release of an unedited transfer. The footage is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of HWY and features Paul Ferrara and Frank Lisciandro loading a camera as Jim Morrison awaits shooting below. Silent color footage shot by Henry Diltz on a Bauer 8mm in December of 1969. The Doors had just finished shooting the Morrison Hotel album cover and were in need of publicity photos. They spent a day in Venice at the beach with Henry Diltz, and along with many photos, this film captures the event. With no official release, collectors are in need of complete, restored transfer of this footage.

These short color film clips of Jim Morrison and Alain Ronay were captured by Agnes Varda at the Castle of Chambord in France, 1970 on the set of Peau D'ane, a french fairy-tale type film production. Although Jim Morrison does not appear in the film, he can be seen signing an autograph for actress Delphine Seyrig's son in this behind-the-scenes private footage. On April 9th, 1971, Jim and Pam leave Paris for Toulouse in southern France. From there, they travel west to Madrid, eventually ending up in Granada where they spend several days. It is rumored that Pam used numerous rolls of 8mm film to document their trip. From Granada, they travel to Morocco and various other locations. They eventually return to Paris on May 3rd. The 8mm camera used to film the trip appears to be the same camera Jim used in 1968. The whereabouts of this footage are unknown.
